Skill Level: Beginner/Novice

Have you ever wondered how fleece is made into yarn for knitting, weaving, crochet or other fiber arts? This is your chance to learn how to spin your own yarn using methods from the ancient times. Students will learn the “park and draft” method. This is also the perfect workshop with those who already have a spindle and would like a refresher.

Ages: 14+

Materials Provided: drop spindle, instruction sheet, 100g fiber

Cost: $55.00 (all materials)

          $40.00 bring your own spindle (fiber supplied by instructor)
